Carol Robe

Carol Robe is the clarinet instructor at Oregon State University, where she is principal clarinet of the Corvallis-OSU Symphony Orchestra. She is also principal clarinet for the Oregon Mozart Players and the Eugene Opera. Additionally, Robe plays clarinet and bass clarinet as a member of the Portland Opera and frequently performs with the Oregon Symphony in Portland.

Patrick Sheng

Patrick Sheng is a jazz saxophonist, composer, and educator currently serving as the Director of Instrumental Jazz Studies at Long Beach City College. He received his Bachelors and Masters of Music from Washington State University.

Kevin Morton

Kevin Morton moved from the Northern Bay area of California to Seattle in 2001. Kevin is a member of the Northwest Sinfonietta, and enjoys freelancing in other ensembles such as the Seattle Symphony, Seattle Opera, Tacoma Symphony and Pacific Northwest Ballet.

He received his Bachelor of Music degree from The Eastman School of Music and a Master of Music Degree from The San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Susan Hess

SUSAN HESS is an avid teacher, coach and performer. With doctorate and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Colorado and a master’s degree from Florida State University, she joined the Colorado Mesa University faculty in 2014 after serving on the University of Idaho faculty for 16 years. Her principal teachers include William Winstead (Cincinnati Symphony), Robert Olson, John Wetherill (Indianapolis Symphony) and Ryohei Nakagawa (Tokyo Philharmonic).

Dan Williams

Dan Williams is one of Seattle's most sought-after performers, as soloist, orchestral musician, teacher and recording artist. He has played principal oboe with the Seattle Symphony, the Seattle Opera, and the Pacific Northwest Ballet.

Wendy Wilhelmi

Wendy Wilhelmi is active as a teacher and performer throughout the Pacific Northwest, frequently playing with some of the region's finest ensembles, including the Seattle Symphony, Seattle Opera, Northwest Sinfonietta and Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra.

Darrin Thaves

Darrin Thaves is Instructor of Flute at California State University, Long Beach and maintains a successful private studio in Long Beach, CA. He is also Principal Flute with the Northwest Sinfonietta and co-director of the Long Beach Flute Institute and Northwest Flute Collegium Summer Camps.
